Generating a Dynamic Distribution List from WebFOCUS Repository Procedures

In previous releases, Dynamic Distribution Lists could be generated only from procedures stored on the Reporting Server. As of WebFOCUS Release 8.2 Version 04, you can generate Dynamic Distribution Lists from procedures stored in the WebFOCUS Repository, which provides a second location for storing procedures. While most users in your organization may not have access to the Reporting Server, most users can access the Repository.

The Dynamic Distribution List from Repository Procedure option is shown in the following image.

You can create Dynamic Distribution List procedures using your personal text editor, or using the text editor available in the WebFOCUS user interface. When assigning the Email Distribution option to a schedule, select the Dynamic Distribution List from Repository Procedure option to choose a Dynamic Distribution List procedure stored in the Repository.
